But I can spend a few minutes in Photoshop® and take a shot at it.
What you see in the image below is my estimate of the “New for 2009 – Mark Ewing Remix.” This model, a remake from the 2007 model which won the Inaugural World Series of Golf event, has some modifications. Now there have been some rumors circulating on the internet (actually that’s not 100% accurate). Most notably, the lack of spikey hair. There has been a small team of people updating this model. Though there wasn’t necessarily a “recall” on the 2008 model, there were some obvious glitches in the system. To date the changes have not been made public. The list of updates is under lock and key somewhere in the state of California. But that state is so loosey-goosey that it can’t be long before it’s made public.
Please stay tuned for updates and if you any insight please contact Joe at jallen@worldseriesofgolf.com

The 2007 World Series of Golf Inaugural Champion talks about the ‘08 event and what he’s doing for the 2009 WSG.
Well here it is the middle of September (4 months after the 2008 event) and I still have people asking what happened to me in this years event. For example, I spent the past weekend in Scottsdale with my nephews who are 6 and 4 and Kedin the 6 year old says “hey Uncle Markie are you going to be on the magazine again?” Of course I had to figure out a way to let him know that I played like a donkey and didn’t even make it past the 9th hole on the first day and won’t be on any magazines anytime soon. Needless to say he wasn’t very happy and didn’t quite understand.
So anyways, I’ve decided to make a few changes for next year which include me shaving my head, incase there are 40 mph winds again as the spiky hair definitely effected my swing, and the main thing I will be doing differently next year is not visiting Vegas over 30 times and showing up 4 days early and going out to the clubs at night and Bare Pool during the day and consuming multiple bottles of Grey Goose and not sleeping much prior to teeing it up.
Hey I’m not making excuses for my poor showing this year but I’m pretty sure those choices didn’t help my game either you know what I mean….
Now with all that being said I have told so many people about the experience I’ve had, not only in 2007 when I won, but even better was this past year. I didn’t think you guys could top 2007 but WOW, you definitely impressed me as well as most of the people I talked to at all the events. From the opening parties at the Mirage and all the staff, who made sure we all had a great time, it was once again a first class event that I would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves to play golf and gamble. They should enter and see just what it’s all about. I have no doubt that all the 2009 events will exceed all expectations once again and I look forward to seeing everyone at all the great parties and on the course. Oh, I plan on getting the crown back from AJ in 2009 as well as the $300k, being on the cover of Vegas Golfer magazine as well as all the recognition for the year was pretty cool and something I wouldn’t mind dealing with yet again. Thanks to all the staff at WSG for an awesome event…

Here is a message from our good friend Frankie Cut:
I was lucky enough to play in the second annual WSOG at the Paiute Golf club last May in Las Vegas. The event was more than I ever expected and was run by the greatest and nicest people I have ever met. I was also very lucky to win my first round match and get back my $10,000.00 entry fee. I can’t wait to play next year and in fact I will play in this tournament for the rest of my life.
P.S The nightlife and parties alone were worth the price of admission so I look forward to seeing a lot of new faces in 2009.
Frankie, we’re looking forward to seeing you too!
